Jennifer Lopez’s new series ‘Not a reality show’

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Jennifer Lopez will be letting TV cameras into her life — just not her entire life. “The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show,” says her manager, Simon Fields. “It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.” There is no broadcast date set for the show, but Fields says it will be this year.

Celeb-Stylist Phillip Bloch Looks Forward to J.Lo’s Reality Show

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

It seems that Jennifer Lopez already has a viewer of her new reality show on TLC. Good friend and celeb-stylist, Phillip Bloch can’t wait. “I would watch anything she does,” Phillip told OK! at the Night of a Thousand Lights event benefiting St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. “I love her.” And maybe we can look forward to seeing this fashionable guy on the boob tube too. “If I am invited, I’d love to make an appearance,” the host of the evening remarked. It isn’t too far-fetched! Jennifer and Phillip have quite a history together. “I’ve worked with her through the years and in this business, you work with different people and your careers change, but she is someone whenever I see her, we instantly connect,” he explains. “We know each other from movie premieres and her first wedding and all that kind of stuff.” Here’s to hoping we can see this dynamic duo on TV together!

J-Lo plans reality show about career, motherhood

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Hollywood diva Jennifer Lopez is planning a television reality show about her life as a singer, actress and, more recently, mother, that she will finance and produce herself, The Learning Channel said Wednesday. “Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience,” TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together,” said Lopez. Lopez, 38, gave birth for the first time to twins — a girl and a boy — on February 22. They were the fourth and fifth children for her husband, salsa star Marc Anthony. The docu-series which Lopez will co-create, co-produce and star in is under development and no launch date was disclosed. The US singer-actress, who is of Puerto Rican origin but was born and grew up in the Bronx, was married twice before she wed Anthony. She was ranked by Forbes.com last year as the ninth richest female entertainer in Hollywood, with a net worth estimated at 110 million dollars.
