After nearly a decade of keeping mum, J.Lo will be forced to testify in a lawsuit over a 1999 nightclub shooting involving her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs. Jennifer Lopez last week was served with a subpoena informing her she will be asked to tell all she knows at an upcoming deposition. The subpoena came from lawyers for Natania Reuben, a woman who was shot in the face during the melee and has lobbed a $130 million lawsuit against Combs and jailed Jamal “Shyne” Barrow.

Lopez, who was with Combs at the now-defunct Club New York on the night of the Dec. 27, 1999, shooting, was not called as a witness at the criminal trial of her ex-boyfriend and Shyne and has never publicly recounted what she saw.

Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a flight attendant who claims the actress’ German Shepherd bit her on the leg during a flight in 2006, The New York Daily News reports. The alleged bitten woman is using for $5 million. The dog was described as “a well-behaved guard dog” in the flight manifest, according to the paper. The woman alleges that when the dog attacked, she attempted to run away from the dog and fell, injuring her back. The flight attendant argues in her lawsuit that J.Lo is “absolutely liable for all injuries” because she “should have known the dog had vicious propensities”. It might seem like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins live in a nursery with over-the-top accommodations, but the family continues to live a lower-maintenance lifestyle. Us Weekly reports that the Lopez and Anthony might still be wrapping 4-month-old Max and Emme in $100 Melissa Masse blankets, but they’re doing so without the help of nannies. The magazine confirmed with Lopez’s rep that the couple is still without outside help, even while traveling abroad. A Lopez confidant also told Us, “The whole 75-pieces-of-Louis-Vuitton-luggage thing is just not happening now. … Being a mother has completely changed Jennifer.”

That’s a good thing: A source told Scoop that before the twins were born, Lopez had picked up a strange travel habit. “Not even the first-class lounge was good enough for her. She kept slipping into a door inside the lounge, so people thought it was like a special VIP area,” said a traveler who witnessed the behavior on many occasions. “Turns out, it was just a storage closet. Give her credit for wanting to be left alone, but hiding in a storage closet? That’s a little extreme.”

June 20th, 2008: Jennifer Lopez, husband Marc Anthony, and the couples two children arrive into Tenerife this evening by private jet ahead of Marc’s scheduled appearance at the Aguaviva festival. The Lopez-Anthony clan along with their aides left the runway in a 3 car convoy and headed straight for the family’s hotel.

Jennifer Lopez was a diva with a capital D shopping last week at the Catherine Malandrino boutique on Manhasset’s Miracle Mile, near where she lives with hubby Marc Anthony. “She demanded the store be shut down for her to shop alone, but they said, ‘Absolutely not,’ ” said our spy. “Then one of her eight-person entourage, including two bodyguards with their guns showing, was yelling at the clerk that Jennifer gets a 50 percent discount. Jennifer also tried on about a million outfits, then just threw it all in a pile in the dressing room and didn’t buy one thing.” J.Lo’s rep did not return a call.

Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres has written a self-help text, inspired by her split from Anthony, who ditched her in 2004 to marry Lopez. Married to Me doesn’t refer to her ex-husband or Lopez by name - but sources tell the National Enquirer the superstar couple believe Torres is cashing in on their fame. An insider tells the tabloid, “The belief in the Lopez family is that Marc’s ex only did this to capitalise on Jennifer’s marriage to Marc and also because Dayanara is jealous of Marc’s happiness. “Dayanara can’t be happy that Marc is raising the babies (five month olds Max and Emme) in the Opulent Long Island mansion she once shared with him and their two children.”

Marc Anthony had three very special new additions to his usual tour entourage as he arrived for a performance in Belgium today - his wife Jennifer Lopez and baby twins Emme and Max. The family of four arrived in Zaventem via private jet, Jennifer emerging first cradling her daughter while Marc followed behind with the couple’s son in tow. Despite her precious cargo, the new mother didn’t exactly choose practicality over glamour, stepping off the plane in towering heels.

Anthony previously discussed taking his four-month-olds on tour, saying: ‘When I perform… they will inspire me.’ And added that he only has one backstage demand: ‘I just need toys for the kids.’ He says his 38-year-old wife is reveling in her new role as a mother. ‘She’s such an amazing mom and I’m so proud of her. She’s such a gem to watch.’ Still, she will soon return to work, and has a number of film projects lined up, including the romantic comedy, Love and Other Impossible Pursuits.
