Jennifer Lopez Finds Sex Symbol Status ‘Hilarious’

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Jennifer Lopez says the thought of men finding her sexually attractive makes her laugh. The ‘Jenny From The Block’ hitmaker — who gave birth to her first children, Max and Emme, in February this year — finds being called a sex symbol “hilarious”. She says, “I should be so lucky to be called a sex symbol! Seriously, it’s hilarious and I always laugh at those comments. I really don’t see myself as one.” The singer — who celebrated her 39th birthday earlier this week — also revealed her main priorities in life are putting her husband and babies before her career. She added, “My priorities are all different now. At one point in my life, I was the main focus and my career was the most important thing, but not now. Marc and the babies are my priority now. “Now my happiness resides in having the choice to reside with my babies and that is absolutely beautiful. I know most mothers would feel and say the same thing but it’s just fantastic.”

Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Nice, Quiet’ 39th Birthday

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Taking care of 5-month-old twins provides Jennifer Lopez with plenty of excitement. So when it came to celebrating her 39th birthday on Thursday, she opted for a low-key evening – and a Broadway show – with her husband, Marc Anthony. “We had such a blast last night,” Anthony, 39, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show Friday. “It’s almost like every day is her birthday … so last night we just wanted it to be quiet and, you know, have a nice quiet evening together.”

The couple snuck into the Tony-winning musical In the Heights (about three days in an Upper Manhattan neighborhood), and got “to sit in an audience and watch other people be nervous,” Anthony said.  When asked about touring with babies Max and Emme, Anthony said: “When your foundation is stable and you’re good, it doesn’t really affect anything. It just amplifies what the experience feels like. It’s that much more fulfilling, and you look forward to coming home. It’s a great time.”
