Jennifer Lopez’s Bel-Air home for sale for $8.5 million

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

The house has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 7,357 square feet.
Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez has listed her French farmhouse estate in Bel-Air at $8.5 million. Speculation is that J-Lo and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, have relocated with their 9-month-old fraternal twins to the Long Island community of Brookville in New York. And she thought the 405 was bad? The house that Lopez and Anthony just listed has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 7,357 square feet. The walled and gated villa sits on 3/4 of an acre and, according to the Multiple Listing Service, has a “European ambience.” There is a detached guest house, a pool and pool house, gardens and pathways around the property upon which to amble, though it’s hard to imagine Lopez and Anthony as amblers.

Jennifer Lopez trying to make one more baby with Marc

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Jennifer Lopez is “trying to make one more baby” with husband Marc Anthony.

The 39-year-old actress - who welcomed her first children, twins Max and Emme, into the world in February - is said to be desperately trying to conceive again.

A source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly magazine: “They were advised to wait six months after she gave birth. They listened to their doctor’s advice, but now they’re trying to make one more baby.

“Jennifer can’t believe how much she loves motherhood. Of course, she always knew she wanted to be a mom one day, but she wasn’t quite prepared for the overwhelming joy these children have given her or how it’s really cemented her relationship with Marc. She would love a full house!”

Jennifer recently revealed becoming a mother had altered her “whole perspective on life”.

She said: “It has changed me very much. It really prioritised what you thought was important and what was not so important.

“But it’s great because it makes you very focused on the things in your life that you need to concentrate on. It makes it very simple. Teething and crawling and sitting up - amazing.”

‘Jealous J.Lo warned me off her husband,’ reveals Cilla Black

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

As one of the nation’s most beloved TV presenters, Cilla Black rarely causes offence to anyone. So imagine her surprise when she incurred the wrath of Jennifer Lopez after talking to her now ex-husband Cris Judd. The 65-year-old claims choreographer Judd flirted with her backstage at the Royal Variety Performance in London in November 2001 - just two months after the pair’s marriage. The Latina star was unamused when she saw Judd talking to Black - who he had met  years earlier in 1998. Cilla tells this week’s Closer magazine: ‘I’d met Cris before when Elton John hosted my 50th birthday party and hired Cris as a dancer. ‘When he saw me backstage at the show, he came over for a flirt. ‘But J.Lo saw us and started fuming. She was screaming to her entourage: ‘What’s that woman doing with my man? Get rid of her.’ It was so funny.’ Lopez split from Judd after just eight months of marriage and their divorce was finalised in January 2003. She is now happily married to Latin singer Marc Anthony and the couple have eight-month-old twins Max and Emme.

Jennifer Attends Madonna Concert

Saturday, November 8th, 2008

Britney and Justin still share one bond: Madonna. In separate appearances, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake performed Thursday night during Madonna’s show at Dodger Stadium. The former pop power couple did not take the stage together, and it wasn’t clear if they’d crossed paths. Rumors of the guest appearances swirled Thursday, making it a can’t-miss event for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars: Elizabeth Banks, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Lucy Lui were among those in the first few rows. Madonna took a moment from her turn onstage to lament the passage of a gay-marriage ban in California. “I am the luckiest girl in the world,” Madonna said, “but am sad because African-Americans are equal finally, but gay marriage is not.”

Jennifer Lopez: ‘Family is The Most Important Thing’

Saturday, November 8th, 2008

Jennifer Lopez is set to reduce her workload in a bid to spend more time with her family. The Jenny From The Block hitmaker - who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February - is married to fellow singer Marc Anthony. And Lopez is planning to dedicate herself more to being a wife and mom. She says, “I think you have to know what is most important to you. And I think you have to realize that as much as you put into work you have to put into your relationship and your children - but more so. “That is how you balance it. For me my family is the most important thing. Everything else comes after that. It is hard to do everything - but you have to make that effort. “I have put so much time into my career in the past, so much time trying to get ahead and all that. But you have to do as much and then more for your home life too.”
