Barack Obama’s “go-to Hollywood hottie is Scarlett Johansson, a starlet who trades frequent e-mails with the presumptive Democratic nominee, campaigns tirelessly on his behalf, hosts lucrative fundraisers and even appeared in that ‘Yes We Can’ viral video that got 10 million views in its first week online.” Johansson is “not alone. Jessica Alba is for Obama. So are Ryan Phillippe, John Legend, Anthony Kiedis, Taye Diggs, Kate Walsh and countless others.” Meanwhile, The Hill reports this morning that Jennifer Lopez “slipped into the Hart Senate Office Building on Wednesday afternoon for a mysterious meeting inside” Obama’s office. Lopez “surprised staffers when she was spotted walking through the Hart atrium and taking the elevator to Obama’s seventh-floor office.” Rumors “circulated that Lopez may be writing Obama a song.”

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez slipped into the Hart Senate Office Building on Wednesday afternoon for a mysterious meeting inside presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama’s (Ill.) office. The Hollywood star, sporting a black cocktail dress and carrying an orange handbag, surprised staffers when she was spotted walking through the Hart atrium and taking the elevator to Obama’s seventh-floor office. When asked what brought her to the Hill, Lopez smiled. “I’m not ready to do any press yet,” she said, her eyes hidden behind a pair of big, black sunglasses. Word spread fast of Lopez’s presence, and a herd of staffers and tourists — thinking they were waiting to see Obama — amassed, their cell phone cameras at the ready. As it happens, Obama was scheduled to be in St. Louis, Mo., today at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Rumors circulated that Lopez may be writing Obama a song. As the throng continued to gather, Sens. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) and Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) walked by with little fanfare, and Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.) stopped short of walking into a photo visitors were taking by the nameplate outside Obama’s door. The security detail guarding Obama’s door grew from two to four as Lopez’s meeting continued. After an hour and a half passed, an Obama staffer came out to break the bad news. “She’s gone,” he said, explaining that she left even more secretively than she entered.

My9 News reporter Lynda Lopez has sold her house in East Hampton for $895,000, public records show and a source confirms. Lopez purchased the three-bedroom 1985 Contemporary in 2003 for $695,000. She sold it earlier this year. Jennifer Lopez, is a Bronx native, but her Long Island roots are strong. She began her broadcasting career at radio stations WBAB/FM and WLIR/FM and graduated with a degree in broadcasting and communications from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. If Lopez has found another place on the East End, she may need to consult new mom J.Lo on decorating a nursery. Us Weekly has reported that Lopez is expecting her first child.

After spending a few months holed up in Brookville with Jennifer Lopez and their newborn twins, Max and Emme, Marc Anthony has thrown himself back into his work. He’s toiling away on three new albums - a tropical release, a Spanish-language album of ballads and an English-language one that includes collaborations with Billy Joel and Babyface, which Anthony hopes will all be released at the end of the year, according to Billboard.com. And he has set his first post-twins tour, his fourth annual Juntos en Concierto tour - this time with Alejandro Fernandez and Aventura - which hits Madison Square Garden on Aug. 21. Tickets for the show, $49.50 to $139.50, go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, 631-888-9000. The tour, which kicks off July 26 in Los Angeles, will once again serve as a fundraiser for the ING Run for Something Better program, which fights childhood obesity. “Through my music, I want to make a difference in the lives of young people across the country,” Anthony said in a statement. “One way is by addressing the critical need to help reduce childhood obesity among Latino children.”

Over 50 staff members from the exclusive Wolfgang Puck company catered the event, which ran into the early hours of Sunday, according to Hollyscoop.com. The couple bought the GBP17.5 million mansion last year, but have spent the last 12 months renovating the property.

Jennifer Lopez is in “mommy mode” and loving it, husband Marc Anthony says. “She’s such an amazing mom and I’m so proud of her. She’s such a gem to watch,” singer Anthony told The Billy Bush Show Thursday. The couple’s “big and gorgeous” twins, Max and Emme, were born Feb. 22 by a Caesarean section, and are cared for by Lopez, 38, and hubby? without the help of a nanny, Anthony, 39, revealed. “It’s just us, man. We’re figuring it out and having a great time,” he said. “She expects me to help and she makes no bones about it. I get the late shift. I get literally from 10 on because we don’t have a nanny. It’s just me and Jennifer figuring it out. From 10 p.m. to 8 [a.m.], that’s my shift.” Anthony, who is touring the country for a campaign against childhood obesity, added that Lopez has three movies lined up and is eager to go back to work, but “the babies have been a blessing all the way around and she’s just amazing.”

Director Robert Luketic was left red-faced after turning up to Jennifer Lopez’s wedding in casual shorts and flip-flops. In an effort to keep the event unpublicised, Lopez told guests invited to her 2004 nuptials to singer Marc Anthony the event was an “afternoon party”. And the manoeuvre worked - as filmmaker Luketic, who directed Lopez in Monster-in-Law, was clueless as to the gathering’s actual purpose. He recalls, “She told me it was a barbecue because she didn’t want anyone to know about it. “Being the nice Aussie boy I am, I thought I’d bring a bit of BYO (bring your own alcohol) and wear my summer clothes. I turned up to this mansion on Mulholland, walked in the living room and all her family and everyone was there. “I remember storming into the bedroom and saying, ‘You told me it was a barbecue,’ as J-Lo was slipping into her wedding dress.”
