After a series of blistering rows with his wife Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony has turned to his former wife Dayanara Torres, 34, for support.

And needless to say, J-Lo isn’t happy!

‘Jennifer absolutely hates the hold Dayanara has on Marc,’ says a source. ‘When he gets into a fight with Jennifer, Marc cries the blues to Dayanara. He’s done this the entire time he’s been married and it’s never going to change.’

According to friends, J-Lo, 39, who began filming The Back-Up Plan on 13 May – her first film since giving birth to twins Emme and Max 15 months ago – is devastated that her marriage is again off course. She’s begged Marc to stop seeing Dayanara and talk to her instead.

‘Marc’s friendship with his ex makes Jennifer feel insecure,’ says the source. ‘She understands that he needs to maintain a relationship with Dayanara for the sake of his kids [Cristian, eight, and Ryan, five], but she feels they’re a bit too close for comfort and hates the fact that Marc talks to his ex-wife about things.’

‘They’re soul mates. Marc says Dayanara gets him in a way that no one else ever has.’

An unlikely feud is simmering between Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez. After focusing on her music career and motherhood, J-Lo is making a return to movies with a film called Plan B about a woman trying to get pregnant.

But she is said to be seething that Friends star Aniston is starring in an almost identical movie called The Baster that J-Lo fears could eclipse her own.

‘The last thing J-Lo wants is to have Aniston overshadow her,’ reports a Tinseltown spy. ‘There’s been some mud-slinging, with J-Lo claiming Jen took her idea.’

Jennifer Lopez has found herself in quite the hairy situation at her luxurious crib!

“Jennifer keeps the door locked and hardly ever lets anyone in the room, not even Marc,” a source tells Star of the beautiful space decorated in caramel and gold tones. “The shelves on the walls are full of plastic heads holding the best hairpieces money can buy.”

The wigs filling the fashionista’s hairy haven cost thousands of dollars, the source adds, because each is exquisitely crafted from real human hair.

“Jennifer spares no expense when it comes to her looks,” the insider explains. “Since her actual hair is shoulder-length and fairly thin, the wigs allow her to always be experimenting with new styles.”

And she’s not afraid to go all out!

“She has short, long and superlong looks, but clip-on buns are one of her favorite tricks,” notes that source. “Hers are so elaborate, they seem to take on a life of their own!”

The superstar couple continues to deny they’re having problems, but sources say they have fought bitterly and fear Marc’s controlling ways may have stretched their 4 1/2-year marriage to the breaking point.

And insiders say if they do split, there could be a bitter showdown over their fortune, estimated to be $350 million, plus wrangling for custody of their nearly year-old twins.

J.Lo, 39, and Marc, 40, have been showing a united front in public in a bid to shrug off reports that their once idyllic marriage is on the rocks. But the strain seemed to be showing with an explosive argument at a  New Year’s Eve party in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The couple started the night at boxer Oscar De La Hoya’s mansion, and then moved on to La Concha’s ritzy, invitation-only bash that guests watched as the glamorous beauty and her salsa-singing hubby dropped their smiles.

“Jennifer and Marc partied in the outside lounge surrounded by a close-knit set of friends and heavy security,” revealed an eyewitness source at the party.

“They danced a little bit as they stood near each other, but it was nothing serious like a long romantic dance or anything.

Then Marc’s mood suddenly seemed to take a turn for the worse.

“At one point Marc took Jennifer to the side and got very serious with her,” revealed a hotel staffer.

“It looked as if he was giving her some kind of orders - like a father scolding a child. It didn’t look like a nice conversation. Put it this way - no one was smiling, and it was the biggest party of the year!”

Lopez, 39, set tongues wagging when she arrived at “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” premiere in early December without her wedding or engagement rings.

Similarly, Marc, 40, has been spotted ditching his own wedding band at N.Y.C. hot spots such as Bungalow 8. He was also caught partying — bandless — with pal Eva Longoria Parker at Lavo in Las Vegas on Dec. 8.

“They were there along with Russell Crowe and his brother Bigram [Zayas]. Marc had been needing to blow off some steam for a while, and this was a good chance to do it. He was trying to be on his best behavior because there were photographers around, so he didn’t get too crazy, but he had fun without Jennifer,” a spy tells us. “Marc’s ready to move on. The fighting has been too much for him to handle lately.”

The 39-year-old ‘Get Right’ singer - who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February - allegedly wanted to make sure Anthony didn’t stray while he was on tour. A source told the New York Post newspaper: “She wanted reports back so he didn’t cheat on her.” The couple - who have recently been photographed without their wedding rings on - are reportedly selling their Bel Air home where they tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in 2004. It seems Jennifer isn’t the only one spying. Friends claim Marc is constantly checking the star’s phone records and wardrobe. Another source said: “He’s very, very controlling of her. The skirts aren’t as short. You don’t see so much of that booty anymore.” Marc was seen flirting with women in New York and Las Vegas nightclubs last week, reportedly complaining Jennifer was “making me miserable”. Marc’s publicist denies the marriage is in trouble, insisting: “They’re doing great.”

Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres has written a self-help text, inspired by her split from Anthony, who ditched her in 2004 to marry Lopez. Married to Me doesn’t refer to her ex-husband or Lopez by name - but sources tell the National Enquirer the superstar couple believe Torres is cashing in on their fame. An insider tells the tabloid, “The belief in the Lopez family is that Marc’s ex only did this to capitalise on Jennifer’s marriage to Marc and also because Dayanara is jealous of Marc’s happiness. “Dayanara can’t be happy that Marc is raising the babies (five month olds Max and Emme) in the Opulent Long Island mansion she once shared with him and their two children.”
