Jennifer Lopez bikes barefoot on movie set
Monday, April 5th, 2010It seems Jennifer Lopez really is still ‘Jenny from the block.’ The billboard-topping recording artist, actress and entrepreneur is said to ride her bicycle barefoot between takes on the set for her new movie, The Back-up Plan.
According to Jennifer Elise Cox (The Brady Bunch Movie), an actress in the movie, J-Lo and hubby Marc Anthony have quite the barefoot biking habit.
“I couldn’t believe it. Her and Marc Anthony were riding around in bikes barefoot,” Cox told On The Red Carpet’s Chris Balish. “I’m like being the total neurotic mother saying, ‘Put some shoes on!’”
The Back-up Plan follows the life of Zoe (Jennifer Lopez), a single girl tired of the dating scene and anxious to be a mother. She makes up her mind to get inseminated and go solo, but on the same day of her doctor’s appointment, she meets the potential love-of-her-life.
The romantic comedy is set to be released April 23.

Saturday, October 17th, 2009ET Video: Jennifer Lopez is Back for ‘The Back-Up Plan’
Thursday, June 4th, 2009
Busy mom Jennifer Lopez is back in front of the cameras after a three-year absence from the big screen, and our own Kevin Frazier got a chance to hang with the star on the L.A. set of her new movie from CBS Films, ‘The Back-Up Plan.’ But where are twins Max and Emme?
The twins, just a little over a year old, are always a few steps away from the set, and Jennifer says, “I bring the babies to work with me. I love it. Honestly, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film — I wanted to do this film really badly — and bringing my babies with me that morning. I was like, ‘Oh my God, they’re with me, I’m making a movie, they’re here!’ It’s great having kids on set. It’s the best.”
Hubby Marc Anthony is also nearby to keep an eye on the tots for the night shoot at the Warner Bros. lot, as is the “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan, who has a cameo in the film and jokes that sometimes people want him to work on their kids!
In ‘The Back-Up Plan,’ Jennifer plays Zoe, a pet store owner who just can’t find Mr. Right. Desperate to be a mother and tired of waiting, she decides to go it alone and get artificial insemination, only to meet Stan (”Moonlight” star Alex O’Loughlin) — a man with real possibilities — the same day.
Jennifer is in amazing shape for the film, and she explains that it wasn’t a piece of cake. “It did take a lot of work,” she admits. “I thought it was gonna drop off easily because I had been in shape my whole life, but it wasn’t. I gained about 50 pounds with my twins, and the first 30 dropped off like that, and I was like, ‘Ha, this is gonna be so easy.’ That last 20 — that took a while.”

Video: Jennifer Lopez Speaking At March Of Dimes Event
Thursday, April 30th, 2009We saw the photos from last weekend, here is Jennifer saying some words at the March Of Dimes event:
An article accommodating the event:
J.Lo really does have a glow. Even at 8 in the morning on a Saturday, the singer-actress also known as Jennifer Lopez was chirpy, affable and sexy. She bounded on the stage at Key Biscayne’s Crandon Park to kick off the March of Dimes March for Babies 2009. Dressed in tight white jeans and a hoodie, Lopez, 39, looked like anything but a harried new mom, with huge movie-star sunglasses, dazzling smile and long curls blowing in the wind. The 5,000-plus crowd — peppered with parents of premature infants — went wild. Especially when the Bronx bombshell looked at a fan directly and said, ”I love you, too, baby,” and giggled.
What was someone of Lopez’s star magnitude doing there? Fourteen-month-old twins Max and Emme (with husband Marc Anthony) were born perfectly healthy, but she has done her homework on keeping them that way. Her new cause: raising awareness of pertussis, more commonly known as whooping cough, through her role as spokeswoman for The Sounds of Pertussis Campaign. She’s fronting a PSA on getting adults immunized for the disease, so they don’t unwittingly pass it on to their kids. ”Like every parent, once you hold your baby in your arms you know the focus of your life completely shifts,” said the star of the upcoming film The Back-Up Plan. “I needed to know everything there was to know about keeping my children healthy and safe and well.” Lopez — who completed a triathlon in September for charity — did not partake in the four-mile beach walk. But, hey, no one could blame her for wanting her beauty rest.
Video: Jennifer Lopez On “Rachael Ray”
Friday, April 24th, 2009When you don’t have a movie or record to promote, it’s always nice to have your twins to talk about when making an appearance on Rachael Ray.
That’s just what Jennifer Lopez did on Friday as she cooed about her two 1-year-old bundles of joy, Max and Emme, revealing how her daughter not only gets her attitude from mom, but “she’s got my little body, it’s crazy.”
As for her son, Jennifer says that she and hubby Marc Anthony “are always claiming he’s got my head and he’s got my mouth,” not to mention she’s “like thank God [Emme's] got my nose!”
Nothing like a little heredity competition when it comes to parenting. “That’s the nature of who we are, we can’t help it,” she says. “We’re both trying to steal it all.”

Jennifer Lopez on “Good Morning America”
Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009
A year ago singer, actress, designer and entreprenuer Jennifer Lopez put her busy career on the backburner for her and husband Marc Anthony’s newborn twins, Max and Emme. The twins turned one Feb. 22, and Lopez is ready to go back to work. Getting her J. Lo drive back took a lot of effort, she said today on “Good Morning America,” and completing a triathlon six months after she gave birth was a big part of that. “Your body becomes sort of this temple for the babies,” Lopez told Diane Sawyer today. “I needed to do it [the triathalon] to feel like Jennifer again. It was really great for me physically, emotionally, mentally. It got me thinking about achieving again, doing again.” Lopez, who turns 40 in July, has a movie on the horizon — a romantic comedy called “The Back-up Plan,” according to her Web site.
In the movie, she plays a single woman who turns to artificial insemination to answer her ticking biological clock. She’s also raising awareness about pertussis, the potentially fatal disease better known as whooping cough. Visit www.soundsofpertussis.com to find out more about the vaccine. Pertussis cases were virtually nonexistent in the United States after a vaccine was developed. Reported cases of whooping cough hit a low of about 1,000 in 1976. That number has been on the rise over the past 30 years, and in 2005, 25,000 cases were reported, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. According to a CDC study of the disease, Hispanic infants were particularly hard hit by the disease, though there is no clear reason why. Immunization from the whooping cough vaccine wears off over time, usually between five and 10 years, so adults can spread the highly contagious disease to infants. Lopez said babies most often contract the disease from their parents, and it can go undetected. “We’ll be OK, but it could be fatal to the babies,” she said.

Despite rumors of a pending divorce between Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, the singer-actress indicated that all was well in the marriage and with the twins.
Lopez and Anthony, a 40-year-old singer, have been married since 2004. He has three other children from previous relationships. Lopez told “Access Hollywood” that she and Anthony talk about having more kids “all the time.” “Marc says, ‘What are we waiting for?’ I say, ‘To recuperate!’ I need a minute. Let me get something out there first — a song, a movie. I definitely want more kids, though,” she told the celebrity TV show. Both Max and Emme are walking and “babbling,” she told “GMA.” “It’s mama when they want something, and dada just for fun,” said Lopez. “Marc makes them laugh.” Jennifer Lopez is working with the March of Dimes and a drug company to raise awareness of the importance of the pertussis vaccine for new and expectant parents.
