It was the New York City Police Foun dation gala. The Waldorf. Sitting alongside Commissioner Ray Kelly? Marc Anthony. So how come? “I’m a lifelong New Yorker,” Marc told me. “I’ve always worked for the NYPD and done fund-raisers for fallen police officers. Five years ago Ray Kelly helped me organize a Hispanic presentation. So when he called last week and invited me - even though I’m a little busy with our babies, I came.
This is my first time out of the house since the babies came. “I told Jennifer, nothing you do is small. Everything you do is on such large scale. The first time out you give birth to twins. And I’m so excited. I’m so hands-on with them that the household developed a nickname for me. They call me the Burp Whisperer.”

TMZ has learned not only has Jennifer Lopez sold her baby pics to People mag for a cool $6 mil — she got the mag to agree to stop calling her J.Lo! A source tells TMZ J.Lo made the deal and threw in the moniker clause as well. We’re also told J.Lo instructed People, in addition to the loot and the name thing, that her hubby, Annie Leibovitz wannabe Marc Anthony, has to be the one to shoot the photos. Reps for mom were mum.
UPDATE: A rep for People tells us, “This is absurd, but thanks for the additional publicity on the photos.”

He may be out of touch with his ex, but Cris Judd still has full confidence in Jennifer Lopez’s maternal instincts. “She’s going to be a great mom,” Judd said Wednesday on the Yo on E! satellite radio show. (Listen to the interview.) The multihyphenate diva and her third husband, Marc Anthony, welcomed twins Max and Emme on Feb. 22. The new arrivals were the first children for Lopez and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, who has kids from two previous relationships. Judd, a former backup dancer and choreographer who wed Lopez in September 2001, said she “always wanted to be [a mother], and so I think this is good for her.”
He said he hasn’t spoken to Lopez in four or five years—and hence won’t be sending her a baby gift. However, before their brief marriage ended in June 2002, he said kids were a frequent topic of conversation. “Absolutely, we talked about it,” Judd said. But he has no regrets that their union produced no offspring. “I don’t think would have, could have, should have,” he said. “It just didn’t work out between us, and it’s cool.” Judd is currently working on his new Lifetime reality series, Your Mama Don’t Dance.

Jennifer Lopez’s backstage requests are the stuff of legend. So it should come as no surprise that three weeks after giving birth, J-Lo’s sprogs are already getting a taste for the high life. The star, whose twins Max and Emme were born last month, has issued her domestic staff and entourage - dubbed “Team Lopez” - with an extraordinary set of baby friendly demands. Devoting one wing of her and husband Marc Anthony’s Manhattan home to the tots, J-Lo is clearly keen to give the twins the best - and most luxurious - start in life. As well as employing a trained colour therapist to paint the nursery in “health enhancing” hues, she has ordered 600-count Egyptian cotton cot linen, designer Babygros, diamond-engraved rattles and, weirdly, two small Shetland ponies for the youngsters. “Jennifer has gone all-out to give the twins an amazing childhood,” says our well-placed source.

Motherhood is something Jennifer Lopez is taking seriously — to the point people around her wonder if the superstar isn’t overreacting a bit. According to a member of J. Lo’s team, the actress and singer — supported completely by husband Marc Anthony — has really beefed up her security detail since the birth of her twins last week. Reportedly, the couple has hired six new bodyguards — two for each eight-hour shift around the clock. The annual tab for that comes to a cool $600,000, not including the cost of benefits for the new security team. In addition, closed-circuit cameras have been installed in virtually every room in Lopez and Anthony’s various homes. ”She’s paranoid about a possible kidnapping,” said my source. Lopez also increasingly has become quite the ”germaphobe.” Dispensers containing a hygienic cleanser have been placed at the entrance to the babies’ nursery and elsewhere around the house. People coming close to the children have been instructed to use those lotions every time they enter the kids’ rooms. There’s also been a purchase of what’s being called ”a lifetime supply” of surgical masks — to be worn by those coming in contact with the newborns.
Chicago Sun-Times
Alas, none of this is true, according to Lopez’s rep. She tells us, “This story is ridiculous and without merit,” adding that the two already have a security team in place and have for some time.

New parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have received multiple deliveries of gifts to their Long Island home for their newborn twins, a source tells PEOPLE. “The twins already got a ton of embroidered pillows with their names on them,” says the source – though Anthony and Lopez have not released the names of their son and daughter, who were born Feb 22. “Jennifer also is getting baby carriers with the names etched on them by Baby K’tan,” adds the source.A spokesperson for Baby K’tan in Fort Lauderdale confirms that pink and blue embroidery were used respectively on the 100 percent cotton carriers and that they “were purchased from us as gifts for both J.Lo and Marc.” In addition, members of Lopez’s family were spotted shopping at Baby Gap in Americana Manhasset mall last week, confirms a sales rep from the store. As for how the new mom is doing, Lopez left the hospital this week and “is resting comfortably at home,” according to close friend.

Dayanara Torres plans to spill the beans on her short and tumultuous marriage to Marc Anthony, reports The Post’s Sandra Guzman. The former Miss Universe is writing “Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce,” which will chronicle how she got over her painful union with Marc Anthony - who left her for Jennifer Lopez - to find true happiness. But let’s hope Torres has good lawyers. When Ojani Noa, J.Lo’s first hubby, tried doing the same, he was shut down in court by Lopez’s lawyers. Torres’ tome will be published by Penguin Book’s new Latin author line, Celebra.
